Jay Houser was born and raised in Jacksonville Arkansas. He completed high school and attended Arkansas State University. Jay has worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and has done everything from dishwashing to management.  

This is Jay’s first time directing a queer men’s group. He draws on many life experiences in Little Rock, including getting sober 4 years ago. He has been a part of the local gay community for decades. 

His goals for the group are simple: have fun, make new friends, and foster and support anyone who needs a safe space.
