Connection – Friendship – Networking
In a safe and emotionally-aware environment
Disconnection is a frequently discussed topic these days. Despite living in a hyper-connected society, we’re lonelier than ever. Our goal is to offer a real-life space where people can physically meet.
Queer men face disproportionate disconnection. We live in a strange time. Apps enable us to have meaningless encounters anytime, anywhere. Yet actual intimacy – a person who cares about you, even for a few minutes – is not so easy.
After talking to many guys (and several local therapists) who shared the same need, we decided to focus on community-building in this one segment.
A third space is somewhere other than work and home. Someplace to spend time with your community. Churches and social clubs have historically provided no-cost third spaces, but have dwindled over time.
Sure! We don’t gatekeep, including gender, despite our primary demographic. If you are looking for a community like this, you should come.
Check out our resources page for info on groups for lesbians, trans and NB people, and queer families in Arkansas.
Popup third spaces provide the chance for regular connection.
